On Thursday-18-May the #12 Bogota Lady Bucs softball team upset #5 ranked Hasbrouck Heights. Madison Heck struck out 8 batters and gave up only 5 hits in a complete game shutout of the Lady Aviators. A scoreless game through the first six inning until Bogota was able to open the scoring in the top of the seventh. Julia Goni connected for a triple with two runners on. This allowed Bogota score the only runs of the game for a 2-0 road win. Bogota's record is now 15-9. Their next game is on Monday-22-May when the #12 Lady Bucs travel to #4 Emerson for a Quarterfinal game of the NJSIAA North 1 Group 1 Tournament.
