A brief recap of the past several games played by Bogota Varsity sports teams.
On Wednesday-10-May The Bogota Lady Bucs Softball hosted Cresskill at Lady Buc Field in Olsen Park. Bogota scored at least 3 Runs per inning in their 17-1 win against Cresskill.
On Friday Bogota traveled to Waldwick. Bogota took a one to nothing lead in the top of the fifth inning on an RBI hit by Julia Goni.The Lady Warriors tied the score at one in the bottom of the seventh. Waldwick won the game in their half of the eight. Beating Bogota by a 1-2 score.
Bogota's record is now 12-8 they next play on Monday-15-May at Hawthorne Christian Academy with a 4:00p start.
The Men's Baseball Bucs also had a home game against Cresskill on 10-May. Bogota jumped out to a 4-0 lead with their first at bat. The Bucs added on more in the fifth inning for a 5-3 win. Jaquan O'Neil hit for a Double, Chris Castillo had a Triple, and Jose Nunez recorded a game high 2 RBI's Chris Castillo pitch 6 innings with 4 Strikeouts for the win.
Bogota next play Queen of Peace on Thursday 11-May at the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond and came away with a 11-1 win.
On Friday the also traveled to Waldwick. The Warriors lead Bogota by a 1-4 score at the end of the first inning. Bogota pulled even trying the score at 6 in the top of the fifth inning. Then Waldwick broke the game open with 4 runs in each of the next two innings beating Bogota 6-14. Jose Nunez lead the Bogota batters with 3 RBI's. The Bucs record is now 10-8. They next play on Monday-15-May against Hawthorne Christian Academy. This will be played at the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond with a first pitch scheduled for 4:00p
