Results of the members of the Bogota Track and Field squad who competed in recents meets.
At the Bergen County Meet of Champions from weekend of 19-May. Samantha Gioiosa placed second in the Womens Javelin . In the Men's 3200 m Danny Daurion finished second and James Draney placed third.
At the State North 1 Group 1 meet on Friday & Saturday -26-27-May The Lady Bucs team placed 8th out of the 16 team field. Samantha Gioiosa won the Javelin. Anna Maria Scarpis came in second in the 100m and fourth in the 200m. Cristina Thomas came in fifth in the 100m. In the Long Jump Ms Scarpis finished second.
The Men's Track team finished sixth of the 19 teams competing. Danny Daurio won both the 1600m and the 3200m races. Bogota sweep the 3200m race with James Draney finishing second and Cole Geraghty taking third. In the 1600m Mr. Draney took third while Mr. Geraghty place sixth.
All the Bogota participates will now move on to the State Group 1 meet next week.
