  On Thursday both Bogota Varsity teams play at home. The #31 ranked Bogota Lady Lady Bucs Softball team play #34 Bergenfield in the opening round of the Bergen County Women's Softball Tournament. This was played at Lady Buc Field in Olsen Park.  The Lady Bears were able to open the scoring in the top of the second inning to take an early one run lead. Bogota was able to equalize the score in their half of the same inning. The score remained tied into the fifth inning.  Alyssa Vazquez reached first base, and stole second to move into scoring position. Jaclynn Howard was able to drive the ball into the outfield which allows Ms. Vazquez to score the go ahead run. Ms. Howard was tagged out trying to reach second base, but  she gave Bogota a 2-1 lead.  Madison Heck, and the rest of the Lady Bucs defence held their ground  to secure the victory. Ms Heck finished the game with seven strikeouts. Their record now stands at 10-7 . The next play at Park Ridge on Friday-5-May with a 4:00p start. On Saturday -6-May the #31 Lady Bucs travel to #2 Immaculate Heart Academy for a first round game. The first pitch is scheduled for 2:00p

  The Men's Baseball Bucs hosted  Bergen Charter in a game postponed from Tuesday-2-May . Bergen Charter took a two run lead in the top of the first inning after loading the bases with one out. A long developing double play by Bogota stopped any more runs from scoring. In the second inning Bogota took control of the game scoring 6 times.  The Bees would not have another runner past second base for the rest of the game as Bogota won the five inning game 12-2. Argenies Soriano record seven strikeouts. Michael Martinez with have a game high with 3 Hits and 3 Runs Scores. Tim Barcon, Chris Castillo, and Jesus Camillo would all double for the Bucs. Bogota's record is now 6-7. They next play vs Paterson Charter @ Feigel Field Baseball Diamond  on Friday-5-May starting at 4:00p
