The teams from Bogota played those from Midland Park on Friday-28-April. The Men's Baseball Bucs traveled to Midland Park and suffered a 1-9 lost to the Panthers. Bogota's record is now 5-5. The next play in a Coach vs Cancer game on Saturday-29-April. This will be against Dwight Englewood and be played at the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond 4:00p.
The Lady Bucs Softball team hosted the Lady Panthers in Olsen Park. Madison Heck started the scoring for Bogota with a solo Home Run in the bottom of the second inning. Bogota would build a 4-0 lead after three innings. Hannah Douma would cut the lead in half with a two run Home Run in the top of the fourth inning. The Bogota fielding would implode in the next two innings giving up 6 runs in both the fifth and sixth innings. Bogota would finish the game with 6 total errors and losing 6-16. Alyssa Vazquez would pitch the seventh inning in relief. Jaclyn Villafuerte would also hit a solo Home Run for Bogota. Ms. Heck, Ashley Silva, and Jayleen Arce would hit Doubles for the Lady Bucs. Bogota's record is now 7-5. The next play in a Coach vs Cancer game on Saturday-29-April. This will be against Dwight Englewood and be played at Lady Buc Field in Olsen Park with the first Pitch scheduled for 4:00p.
