Bogota Sports

Members of the Bogota Cross Country and Track team signed letters of intent for their respected Colleges.  Anna Maria Scarpis signed with Ramapo College,James Draney has committed to Marist College, Cole Geraghty signed with Johnson and Wales  University,and Danny Daurio signed with Rider University,  to compete in both Schools Division 1 Cross Country as well as  in Track.

   On Wednesday 12-April the Bogota Track and Field teams had a tri-meet against Midland Park, and Saddle River Day School. This took place at Midland Park High School.  The Lady Bucs posted a 104 -6 win against Saddle River. While they lost to Midland Park 57-74. The Men's Team won against both of their opponents by outscoring Saddle River 117-2 and Midland Park  85-45.  The Lady Bucs are now 2-2, and the Men's Team is 3-1
  Both squads next meet will be on Wednesday-19-April against Emerson and Park Ridge. This will take place at Emerson High School.

   The Bogota Lady Bucs Softball  team traveled to Emerson on Wednesday 12-April Both teams were held scoreless through for the first six inning. When Bogota did not record a run in the top of the seventh, this open the way for the Lady Cavaliers to win the game scoring the only run of the game in the bottom of the seventh inning.
   Bogota now has a record of 3-2. Their next game is on Thursday-13-April against Palisades Park.  This will be played at home at Lady Buc Field in Olsen Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p

  The Bogota Baseball Bucs played Emerson at home at the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond. Again, after a scoreless first the opposing batter were able to hit off of Bogota pitching. The Cavaliers scored 3 runs in the top of the second, and another 3 in the fourth inning on the way to an 11-0 win.
  Bogota now has a record of 2-2, and play their next game on Thursday-13-April at Palisades Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p
