On Tuesday-10- April the Varsity teams from Bogota played those from Midland Park. These were makeup game from Friday -7-April that were postponed to the field conditions.
The Bogota Lady Bucs Softball team traveled to Midland Park. The Lady Panthers scored the first run of the game in the fourth inning. Midland Park added another three in the next inning to take a 0-4 lead. Bogota staged a brief comeback with three runs of their own in the top of the sixth. The Lady Bucs were then shutout at their next at bat to fall to the Lady Panthers 3-4.
Jaclyn Villafuerte , Jaclynn Howard, and Jayleen Arce each hit for a Double. While Ashley Silva had a team high with 2 RBI's
Bogota's record is now 2-1. They next play against Wallington on Tuesday-11-April. This will be played at Lady Buc Field in Olsen Park with the first pitch at 4:00p.
The Bogota Baseball Bucs suffered their first lost of the season losing 2-17 to Midland Park. After the scoreless first inning the Panther scored 9 runs in the bottom of the second off of two Bogota Pitchers. Midland Park would continue to score in the next two innings for the win.
Bogota's record is now 2-1 and they will next play against Emerson on Wednesday-12-April. This will be a Home game played at the Feigel Field Baseball Diamond with the first pitch at 4:00p
