As Thursday-16-March moved into Friday members for the Bogota Department of Public Works started to remove the built up snow from the W. Main St. Business district. A front loader was used to scrape the remaining snow from the curb. The snow was then placed in a 40 yd dumpster which was empty in the Swim Club Parking lot. The piles of snow will be left to slowly melt on the gravel lot which allows for a natural filtration of water in order to avoid having contaminants to flow into the Hackensack River.
