On Saturday-4-March the Bogota Public Library celebrated "Reading day in America" by recognizing the birthday of Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. The Library staff was joined members of the Bogota High School Drama club who read to the younger Students. The Actors each became a character from each story they read. The first one was "The Sneetches" and then "Daisy-Head Mayzie". After the reading the attendees had a chance to colour in their own star from "The Sneetches". And also a flower for "Daisy-Head Mayzie". The Younger Students created colourful works, some by themselves other with the help of their Families, or from the High School Students.
After all the creating was done, and shown off to their Parents. All the Students joined together in acting out each story one more time.
