On Friday-17-February the Bogota Lady Bucs basketball played their final home game of the season on the Jay Mahoney Court. Before the start of the game they first recognized two Seniors from Green Meadow, Esme Graziung , and Olivia Oswald. In breaking with tradition Bogota head Coach Andrew Ballester presented Junior Sara Rigatti to the audience. Ms. Rigatti is an Exchange Student from Padua Italy and will be returning home after this school year. This was to give her another type of experience of America High School life. Then Coach Ballester honoured, the one Senior, Emma O'Brien for years playing Basketball for Bogota. Also honoured was Senior Cheerleader Amerlin Vasquez .
The game started slowly with Green Meadow having a one Point lead after the first quater. The Lady Bucs finally had their shots fall through the basket to take a 18-10 lead into half time. Bogota was able to shut out the Lady Warriors in the third quater on the way to a 48-23 win. Tatiana Bruno had a game high of 21 points with 3 Three Point Baskets. Emma O'Brien had 14 Points and 2 Three Point Baskets. The now have a record of 3-18 and play their next game on Tuesday 21-February at Hawthorne Christian Academy with a schedule start time of 4:00p
