On Tuesday 17- January the Bogota High School chapter of the National Honor Society inducted its four newest members. Samantha Cintron, Sara Williams, Melissa Cristaldo, and Elizabeth Wieskus. These four Students have met requirements needed to be accepted into the National Honor Society. These include for Scholarship: a cumulative GPA of 85, B, 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent standard of excellence. For Service: voluntary contributions made by a student to the school or community, done without compensation. In Leadership: a Student who are resourceful, good problem solvers, and idea contributors. Leadership experiences can be drawn from school or community activities while working with or for others. For Character: a student of good character is cooperative; demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability; shows courtesy, concern, and respect for others; and generally maintains a clean disciplinary record.
Bogota High School Principal Damian Kennedy, and NHS advisor: Monica Garcia oversaw the ceremony and introduce the latest members of the Bogota High School chapter of the National Honor Society.
