October to December
Monday -3- October will be the start of Leaf Season. Home Owners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street , along the curb, in front of their residents. It is ask that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding , or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -19- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

The Bogota Music Dept. will present their Winter Concert starting at 7:30p This will feature both the Women's & Men's Choir, The La-De-Da's Barbershop group. The Concert band and the Jazz band. Tickets are $5.00 per person. They will be accepting small unwrapped toys for " Toys for Tots" sponsored by the 7th & 8th Grade Youth Action Committee. This will be held in the High School Auditorium located on the first Floor at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota , NJ

The Bogota Public Library will host a workshop on advice to compete in the modern job market. This will be presented by the Ardelle Institute and held in the First Floor Teen Study Corner starting at 7:00p

The Bogota Public Library will host a workshop for young athletes in Bogota This will be the first of four Saturday's to encourage Students to learn more about how learning any sport can be beneficial in everyday life. It will be in two separate age groups. One group for anyone ages from 2-4 will run from 10:30a to 11:00a. The second group will be for ages 5-7 and start at 11:15a to 12:00 noon. This is a free event, but anyone attending is asked to register with the library in advance. Members of The Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. will be escorting Santa on his Lollipop tour of the Borough. This a final chance for the Bogota Children to show Santa that they have be nice this year. He starts his tour at about Noon with Lollipops being passed out by his helpers.

Ridgfield Park, NJ
The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will hold their monthly All you can eat Breakfast starting at 8:30 a to 12:00 noon. Tickets are $10.00 and $5.00 for Students 10 years old and younger. Price included an omelet station, pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage and home fries. Along with pastries and cereals. Process go to the Elks Lodge general fund. The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.
