The Bogota Borough Council will hold a special meeting to have a public hearing on Ordinance #1490 involving the River Development Bogota Urban Renewal LLC. This will be held in the Bogota Senior Center located on the second floor of the Bogota Public Library at 375 Larch Ave Bogota, NJ This meeting is open to the public.

Bogota Beautiful will present " Just Dance 2016" this will be a pre-New Years Eve way to start to celebrate the beginning of 2017 with dancing and sharing of community spirit. This will take place on Friday-30- December at the Bogota VFW Post #5561 in their lower hall with the doors opening at 8:00p. Tickets are price at $25.00 per person and $10 for Student 17 and younger. There will be Hor D'Oervers with DJ music for listening and dancing pleasure. Proceeds from this event will go to Bogota Beautiful to help fund current and future projects. The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will hold their New Years Eve party starting at 8:00p. The Bogota Men's Basketball Bucs will compete in the Bergen Holiday Tournament at Bergenfield High School. The first game is scheduled for a 3:00p tip-off

The Bogota Lady Bucs Basketball team will compete in the Ridgefield Holiday Tournament at Ridgefield High School. The first game is scheduled for a 11:00a tip-off
Wrestling

The Bogota/ Weehawken Wrestling squad will compete in the Bergen County Tournament. This will take place at Hackensack High School with the first matches starting at 9:00a
Friday-30-Dec
A Tri-meet against Union City and Verona at Verona High School. The first match is scheduled to start at 9:00a
