On Wednesday -21- December the Bogota Wrestling Bucs had their hoe opening meet in Speary Gym. They loss a close match to New Milford by a score of 33-39. The Knights won the match on the power of scoring one more pin fall over Bogota. This gives Bogota a record of 1-1.
Danny Gonzalez at 126 lbs, Simon Cardona at 220 lbs, and Evan Schroer at 285 lbs each scored Pin Falls for Bogota.
They next compete in the Bergen County Tournament on Wednesday & Thursday 28-29 December at Hackensack High School. Each days matches will start at 9:00a. There next league match will be tri-meet on Friday-30-December at Verona against Verona and Union City the first match is scheduled to start at 12:00 noon
