The Bogota Cross Country Bucs competed 2016 New Jersey North 1 meet at Garrett Mountain on Saturday-5-2016. In the Women's meet the Lady Bucs placed 7th of the 12 teams competing. Angeli Jaipersaud was the highest Bogota finishers coming in at 24th place.
In the Men's race with James Draney becoming the the North 1 section champion with a winning time of 16:13. He was the first of five Bogota runners to finish in the top 15. Ryan White finished 4th with Danny Daurio coming in 5th. Cole Geraghty place 13th and Daniel Rivera at 15th. This gave Bogota the North 1 section Championship. With this win the Men's Squad has earned a triple with League, Country, and State Sectional title wins. They next will compete in the State Group meet on Saturday 12-November at Holmdel Park in Holmdel, NJ.
