On Saturday 15- October the #5 Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball played the #28 Paramus Catholic Lady Paladins in the first round of the Bergen County Tournament vs at Speary Gym. Both games were played close with Paramus Catholic forging a tie early in the first game, and a late tie of 16 all in the second. Bogota would denied the visitors the chance to ever take a lead. After the 16-16 score the Lady Bucs will score 9 out of the last ten points in match to forge a 2-0 (25-15: 25-17) win. Samantha Gioiosa would lead Bogota with 16 Kills and 14 Service Points , which included 2 Aces. Lizbeth Suarez would also score 2 Aces. Kaliana Vasquez had a team high of 18 Assists and Alyssa Vazquez would finish with 14 Assists.
#5 Bogota will next play #12 Mahwah on Saturday 22-October in the second round. This will be played at Old Tappan.
Their next league game is on Tuesday -18-October at Mahwah with a 7:00p start.
