On Tuesday-4-October the State #5 Bogota Lady Bucs hosted the State #3 Blue Eagles from Immaculate Heart Academy. The first game was a the heavyweight contest that is the standard when these to powerhouse school meet. The Blue Eagles scored first, with Bogota coming back to even the score. Both team held leads only to have their opponent force a tie, or cause another lead change. Bogota was, once again, one point from a first game only to have Heart score the next three points to earn the 25-27 win. In the second game The Blue Eagles took another early lead, with Bogota again coming back to tie. But this time Heart was able to string a number of Service Points runs to extend their lead to take the Match from Bogota 0-2 ( 25-27: 20-25).
Samantha Gioiosa had a match high 10 Service Points and 16 Kills. Kaliana Vasquez had 18 Assists. Bogota's record is now 11-1. They next play at Park Ridge on Wednesday -5-October starting at 4:00p.
