Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball Captain Samantha Gioiosa was voted top Athlete for the week of 19-25 September. Ms. Gioiosa scored 50 Kills, 18 Digs , 6 Blocks ,and 28 Service Point. She received over 30 % of the vote in an nj.com online poll.
Results from Monday 10-October. The Bogota Soccer Bucs were shut-out 0-6 by Midland Park. They now have a 0-12 record. Their next game is on Thursday-13 October against Jonathan Dayton with a 4:00p kick-off at Riverside Park in North Arlington, NJ.
The Bogota Cross Country squad competed in the NJIC Championship meet at the Garrett Mountain race course. The Lady Bucs place third of the six competing schools. Alanah O'Brien finished third over all with Emma O'Brien coming in eight and Angelie Jaipersaud finishing tenth.
In the Men's race Bogota won fifth straight NJIC Patriot Division Championship placing first over six other schools. Danny Daurio won the individual title with James Draney coming in second, Ryan White fourth, Daniel Rivera 7th, Cole Geraghty 8th and Jimmy Gutierrez in 10th. They next will run in the Bergen Country Group Championship on Saturday 22-October at the Darlington Park Race course.
