On Friday 9-September the Bogota Bucs Football team opened their 2016 season at Weehawken. Bogota took an early 2-0 lead as a result of a safety. Both team exchanged long touchdown plays during the middle of the first half. Bogota ended the beginning part of the game with a touchdown drive to give the Bucs a 17-13 going into the locker room. After the restart the Indians scored on the first play from scrimmage. Weehawken then repeated their play on their second possession with along long touchdown run. Both of these plays came at the expense of the right side of the Bogota Defense. The two team played a stalemate for much of the rest of the game, with Weehawken scoring on more time to give Bogota a 17-32 loss.
Bogota next plays on Saturday 17-September when they host Wood -Ridge at Fiegel Field. This will have a 1:00p kickoff.

The Bogota Cross Country Squad takes part in the season opening meet at Darlington Park
The Lady Bucs Volleyball team takes part in the Jersey Classic Tournament in Paramus starting at 9:00a
