On Sunday-22-May the Friendship House of Hackensack held their 10th annual Wellness Walk in Olsen Park. The walkers were welcomed by Friendship House CEO. and former Bogota Mayor Leonard Nicolosi. He thanked the supports who joined them on a damp Sunday Morning to help raise awareness of mental heath disorders. He also told of how this event will go to help Friendship House the funds to assist those in need to learn work skills and be placed in employments opportunities. Mr Nicolosi then introduced Bergen County Freeholders Tracy Zur and Tom Sullivan who said that they are proud to support Friendship House and will continue to fund their work as part of the role of Government to help those in need.
After the walkers took laps around the Western area of Olsen Park they wee able to enjoy Lunch, Games,& Music and some Sunshine that came out during their walking.
