On Saturday the Bogota Bucs Men's Baseball team traveled to Lyndhurst to play a "Mother's Day" game. Before the first pitch the Mothers of the players were honoured and presented with flowers. As for the game itself the Golden Bears took a three run leads after the first two innings. Bogota then had a 3 Run fifth inning to tie the score. Lyndhurst then scored one in their half of the sixth inning with the Bucs tieing it in the top of the seventh. After two scoreless extra innings Bogota score 4 Runs in the top of the tenth. Lyndhurst was able to get a single in the bottom of the inning. Winning Pitcher Joey Mitchell and the Bogota fielders was able to prevent any more scoring to earn a 8-5 win. Mr. Mitchell along with Nico Calabia, and Chris Castillo recorded 2 RBI's each with Kazuki Garay batting for a Triple. Bogota record is now 11-9
The next play against Midland Park on Wednesday 11- May at the Fiegel Field Baseball Diamond. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00p

The Bogota Lady Bucs Softball team traveled to West New York to play at Memorial School. Bogota started the game with a 7 Run first inning. The Lady Bucs were able to score at least on run in every inning, except the second to earn a 15-7 win. Madison Heck picked up the win for Bogota, Leah Pimentel had a game high 4 RBI's off of 2 Doubles and a Homerun. Jazlynn Howard, and Julia Goni recorded 2 RBI's . The Lady Bucs record is now 11-6
They next play on Wednesday-11-May at Midland Park with a 4:00p start.
