On Thursday 19-May the Bixby Violin Orchestra held their Spring concert. Mostly had up of Third and Fourth grade Students who displayed what they have learn. The concert started with members of the Third grade class playing "pizzicato" by plucking the strings to learn the sounds of the notes possible. This was the premiere evening performance for these Students. Then the more seasoned Fourth grade Students played in unison and solo performances to show their talent. Director Jeannine Murray added accompaniment to some of the songs. She was near by to reassure the younger artist that if they remained claim and focus on their music, the notes would take care of themselves. Other times Ms. Murray stood back and let the Musician have the full attention of the Audience, in order to show their progression.
