A Family Orchard Terrace is still searching for their lost dog . This family is serving as a Foster Home for this Dog who will answer to the name Cleo or Celine. She is a 2 year Shepard mix Brown and Black in colour. The foster family reported Cleo missing on Wednesday 16-Dec after arriving home from work finding a window broken and Cleo missing. Cleo was last seen wearing a red collar decorated with images of bones on it. Cleo may be familiar with the area along River Rd. She is described as "fearful" and may ran from strangers. Cleo has been with her Foster Family for only a few weeks so she may be looking for an older home, or more familiar surroundings.

This will be the final weekend of Food For Fines Month at the Bogota Public Library. For the entire month of April The Bogota Public Library will accept donation of food in lieu of payment for overdue fines. Food products that must be non-perishable item. Donation can be canned goods, boxed or bag item that are not damage , and are not yet expired. Glass containers will not be accepted. All item donated will then be forwarded to the St. Joseph's food pantry.

The Bogota VFW Post #5561 Ladies Auxiliary will host an evening painting workshop. This will be presented by Canvas and Cork, and have a Spring Floral theme to it. The cost to attend is $40 per person with supplies such as , canvas, paint , and brushes to be provided. This is open to anyone over 21 years of age. Registration will be open until 25- April. The Bogota Police Dept. will once again participate in Operation Take Back from 10:00a to 2:00p. This is a joint effort between Local Law Enforcement and the DEA. to help people dispose of old medications. A box will be placed on the entrance of Police Headquarters, located on West Broad St., so citizens can use it anonymously. All types of medications will be accepted, from Over the Counter medication to Prescription drugs. The the box will be pick-up by the DEA and be disposed of in a safe & environmentally responsible way.
This action is also part of the Borough's Sustainable Jersey certification. It keeps drugs away from non approved users and removes the waste from our waterways.

The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.
