On Saturday 5- March Students from Fairleigh Dickinson University took part in a Read Across America event at the Bogota Public Library. This was part of the New Jersey Student Education Association program to encourage younger Student to enjoy reading. This was also an opportunity to help celebrate the birthday of Theodor Geisel the creator of Dr. Seuss. The Children gathered in the middle of the room to listen to the College Students read to them from various books. Between readings the Children had a chance to arts and crafts, and do games related to the stories they just heard. This was a way challenge the listeners to really pay attention to the subject. It also allowed the Children to help improve their memories be having to recall the information so soon.
