The reorganize Bogota Boy Scouts Troop # 66 will hold their first meeting. This will be the kick-off to the new Bogota Troop 66.

The Board had two candidates to fill the vacant seat from when Gloria Clark resigned. Amanda Montgomery was voted to fill the vacant seat for one year.Ms Clark was one of two candidates who applied for the seat.

The Bogota High School PTO, Steen School PTO, and Bixby School PTA hosted a Candidate Debate for the six candidates seeking to be elected to the Bogota Board of Education.

The Bogota Volunteer Fire Department Hose Co. #2 held their annual Pancake breakfast. Process from this event are use for the General operating fund for the Central Ave. Fire House.

The results of the Elections on 3- November. All Republican Candidates swept into office with large victories. For Mayor Incumbent Chris Keleman won a full three year term with a more than 360 margin over Councilwoman Lisa Kohles. For Council Incumbent Councilwoman Daniele Fede was the top vote getter of the four Candidates for the full three year Council term First time Francisco Miranda won the second seat available. In the race to fill the one year Council seat, vacated when Mr. Keleman won the Mayor's office in 2014 Michael Connors defeated Ingrid Brito by over 300 votes.
For the three seat available for the Bogota Board of Education Eileen Lewis was the top vote getter. She was followed by Incumbent Kathryn Van Buren, and Jo-Ellen Granquist.

The Men's race Bogota's James Draney took first place overall in the meet. The Bucs took a third in the field of 16 schools. Daniel Daurio took 5th place while Andy Jaipersaud finished 13th .
Their next meet will be on Saturday-14 November for the State Group Championship. This will be run in Holmdel , NJ the Women's race is Scheduled to start at 2:00p with the Men's race at 3:00p

The Bogota Board of Education approved Danian Kennedy as the new Principal for Bogota High School. Principal Kennedy will begin his tenure starting on 1-January-2016.
