Some events happening in and around Bogota for the week starting on Monday 7-September.
- Note: Monday-7 -September will be Labor Day. Bogota Borough Hall will be closed for regular business. The Bogota Public Library will also be closed for the Labor Day weekend. Both will resume normal hours on Tuesday 8- September.

The St. Joseph's Academy will have its first day of school for the 2015-16 year. There will be a Parent Meet & Greet at 8:00a

The Bogota VFW Post 5561 will be host a program for Women Veterans, and Active Duty members from any of the branches of the US Military. This called Vets Chat and Chew, it will be six sessions lasting two hours each. The first will take place on Wednesday 9-Sept. then continue for the following five weeks. This is a program to assist female members of the Armed Forces who would like to learn more about food, and proper nutrition, and the healing benefits from them. This will also be a chance for Veterans to relax, share stories, make new friends, and enjoy a shared dining experience. Space for each session is limited to 12 participants, there will also be a reimbursement of certain travel expenses if needed. Classes will start promptly at 6:30p. There will advice from nutritional consultants, and cooking lessons from Professional Chefs.
This is for Women Veterans, and Active Duty Military Women. However is anyone that may benefit from this program please forward this information to them as well.

The Hackensack Cultural Arts Center will host a Lunchtime Concert Series at the Atlantic Street Park . This weeks performance will be Jim & Lou Sabini, which will feature a selection of Jazz. The Bogota Public library have extended their fitness club Saturday session into September. The schedule starting time is still 10:30a to 11:30a. This will incorporate a number of different techniques from the "Team Beachbody® Fit Clubs". This will be a free event to anyone 18 years or older. All fitness levels are welcomed. Anyone who attends must bring their own Yoga mat, towel, and water bottle. Comfortable exercise clothes are recommended.
