Bogota Beautiful will be host a Summer 2015 Bar-B-Que. This will take place in Olsen Park Bogota, NJ. The events starts at 7:00p and will go until 9:30p. Tickets are now available at: Summer 2015 BBQ Tickets are $12 for Adults and $10 for Students ages 13 and younger. Tickets will be available at the event for $15 for Adults and $12 for Students.
Proceeds from this event will go to help fund future Bogota Beautiful project such as adding Holiday Lights and upkeep for the W.Main St planters , along with their Community Garden project.
Admission will include " All you can eat" Burgers, Hotdogs, vegetables, including Corn and refreshments. There will be face painting and Music provided by 20fifteen Multimedia.
Adult beverage may be brought, but it asked that they are in non-glass containers.

Teaneck, NJ
The Township of Teaneck host a Farmers Market from June until October. This will take place every Thursday until October. It will run for 12:00 noon to 6:00p. It is located in the Municipal Parking Lot at Beverly Rd & Garrison St. This will feature local and community farmers selling:

The Bogota Public Library is looking for volunteers to assist them on Friday-29-August. They will be performing and upgraded to their shelving. They will receive an order of replacement shelving on that day. They are looking for volunteers to assist them in unloading the delivery truck, and bring the pieces into the building. Snacks, and refreshments will be provided. In order to make way for the new shelving the Library is having a clearance sale on books. The last day for this sale is Thursday 28- August.For $10 the buyer can fill a standard size garbage bag with as many books as it can fit. Or a regular grocery bag for just $3. This is a chance to expand one's personal library, or to give books to another organization they may need them. This will also reduce the amount of books the Library will need to move that will speed up the replacement of the old shelves.

Bogota Beautiful is hosting Saturday morning Yoga classes. This will be the final
class for the Summer of 2015. Classes will go from 9:00a to 10:00a They will be held in Olsen Park in Bogota. These classes are open to anyone regardless of age, or experience. The classes will meet at the Vic Scully field in Olsen Park depending on the number of attendees classes will determine where the classes will be held. Everyone who wishes to attend is required to provide their own mat, towels, and water. Comfortable clothing that will allowed free and ease of movement should be worn. This is free to the public, however it is asked to contact Bogota Beautiful at there website: bogotabeautiful.com to make a resveration.
Now available from Bogota Beautiful are workout mats. They are available in pink or blue and come with their own carrying sleeve, and straps to keep the mat rolled securely. The has the Bogota Beautiful logo printed on one side of the carrying sleeve. Mats are priced at $25 they can be purchased at the yoga class or by contacting Bogota Beautiful at :

The Bogota Public library will have their fitness club session starting at 10:30a to 11:30a. This will incorporate a number of different techniques from the "Team Beachbody® Fit Clubs". This will be a free event to anyone 18 years or older. All fitness levels are welcomed. Anyone who attends must bring their own Yoga mat, towel, and water bottle. Comfortable exercise clothes are recommended. The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.
