The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayor's office. The Bogota Public Library is hosting a Summer Science series for Student in third grader or higher. The next session will be on Tuesday 25-Aug. starting at 4:00p. Advanced registration is required for each week, this is needed to determine the amount of materials needed for that week's session. There will be a different topic for each session , the session will continue throughout the Summer.

The Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy will hold its annual alumni picnic and pool party at The Bogota Swim Club pool. This is only for Alumni Graduate Cadets from Class 01 to 05 and their Families. This will start at 6:00p and go until 10:00p Alumni must sign-in and receive a wristband that will allow them to stay at the pool after hours, and enjoy the food provided.
This is a chance for Graduated Cadet meet Alumni from other classes to trade stories and share experiences. The Families of the Cadets will also be able to meet the other Families, along with the chance to meet any of the instructors that attend.
There will be some items of Academy merchandise available for purchase, which will help fund Class 06.

The Bogota Public library has extended it's Unplugged Family Game night to a weekly event that will take place every Tuesday in July starting on 7-July. The games are scheduled to begin at 7:00p These will be an evening to play board game with Family and Friends.

The Township of Teaneck will present a showing of the movie "Big Hero 6" in Votee Park. Showtime will be approximately 7:45p, based on when twilight occurs. It is advised anyone wishing to attend bring their own chair, or blanket. In cause of rain the showing be moved to Thursday 20 Aug. at the same location. The final performance of the McGowan Park Summer Concert Series for this Summer will feature a performance by Soul Finger. They will present a show highlighting Pop along with Rock & Roll from the past several decades.
The Concert is schedule to start at 7:00p, with a rain date of the following day at the same time. Admission is free of charge, but it is recommended to bring a lawn chair, or blanket.

Bogota Beautiful will be host a Summer 2015 Bar-B-Que. This will take place in Olsen Park Bogota, NJ. The events starts at 7:00p and will go until 9:30p. Tickets are now available at: Summer 2015 BBQ Tickets are $12 for Adults and $10 for Students ages 13 and younger. Tickets will be available at the event for $15 for Adults and $12 for Students.
Proceeds from this event will go to help fund future Bogota Beautiful project such as adding Holiday Lights and upkeep for the W.Main St planters , along with their Community Garden project.
Admission will include " All you can eat" Burgers, Hotdogs, vegetables, including Corn and refreshments. There will be face painting and Music provided by 20fifteen Multimedia.
Adult beverage may be brought, but it asked that they are in non-glass containers.

The Township of Teaneck host a Farmers Market from June until October. This will take place every Thursday until October. It will run for 12:00 noon to 6:00p. It is located in the Municipal Parking Lot at Beverly Rd & Garrison St. This will feature local and community farmers selling:

Bogota Beautiful is hosting Saturday morning Yoga classes. These will continue through August. Classes will go from 9:00a to 10:00a They will be held in Olsen Park in Bogota. These classes are open to anyone regardless of age, or experience. The classes will meet at the Vic Scully field in Olsen Park depending on the number of attendees classes will determine where the classes will be held. Everyone who wishes to attend is required to provide their own mat, towels, and water. Comfortable clothing that will allowed free and ease of movement should be worn. This is free to the public, however it is asked to contact Bogota Beautiful at there website: bogotabeautiful.com to make a resveration for as many dates as you wish.
Now available from Bogota Beautiful are workout mats. They are available in pink or blue and come with their own carrying sleeve, and straps to keep the mat rolled securely. The Bogota Public library will have their fitness club session starting at 10:30a to 11:30a. This will incorporate a number of different techniques from the "Team Beachbody® Fit Clubs". This will be a free event to anyone 18 years or older. All fitness levels are welcomed. Anyone who attends must bring their own Yoga mat, towel, and water bottle. Comfortable exercise clothes are recommended.
