On Friday 12-June the Bogota High School Drama Club hosted the WBHS Radio Hour. This was a dramatic presentation of the Classic Radio Shows from the 1930's & 40's. In the era before Television weekly, sometimes daily, scripted shows could be heard over the radio. Shows were taken from popular books, current events, or comic strips and developed into shows. Like the original radio shows sound effect were proved by by a separate cast use various items to mimic the desired effect. WBHS also included commercials and "words from our sponsors" to give an authentic feel to their presentation.
