It has been confirmed that the Bogota police Emergency Service Youth Academy banquet originally schedule for Friday 8- May has been cancelled . No other information, and rescheduling date has been announced at this time.
On Monday 4- May the teams from Bogota took on the teams from Cresskill. In Softball the Lady Bucs used a 5 run seventh inning to pull ahead at Cresskill only to have the Lady Cougars scored two in the bottom of the 7th to fall short by the score of 7-8. The Lady Bucs will next play at Teaneck on Monday at 4:15p
The Boys Baseball Bucs used a 2- run Homerun by Nico Calabia in the bottom of the 5th inning to give the Bucs a 4-3 win over Cresskill at the Fiegel Field Baseball Diamond. The Cougar took a two run lead in the top of the inning. Bogota got one run back when Jaquan O'Neil took advantage of indecisive fielding to score. Then with Allen Albino on base Mr. Calabia sent a 3-2 pitch to deep Center Field and race home for the leading run.
Bogota will next travel to Emerson on Friday 8- May for a 4:00p game.
