The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting and work session starting at 7:30p. This will be held in the Council Chamber in Bogota Borough Hall. This meeting is open to the public. This meeting was originally schedule to be at the Bogota VFW Post #5561 Hall but it has been moved back to the Council Chambers. There has been a tentative date for a town hall meeting at the VFW in May. The Bogota Environmental Commission is planning to give away tree sapling as part of the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign. Trees will be available at Borough hall before the Council Meeting. residents of Bogota and surround communities are invited to get a tree sapling for their house. Planting instruction and care will be included.

The Bogota High School chapter of the International Thespian Society Troupe # 6058 is hosting a night of improvisational comedy by the company " Howdy Stranger". Curtain time will be at 8:00p and will take place in the High School Auditorium. Tickets are priced at $10.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Students & Seniors. The Bogota Public Library will have its next installment of their "Smarty Pants" series with Childrens book author Rob Skead. He will read and talk about some of his books. This will be held on the second floor Senior Center located at 375 Larch Ave. in Bogota, NJ. This is open to all age with no admission charged. The Library does ask that reservation be made for everyone wishing to attend. The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayors office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

The Bogota Public Library will have the first meeting of a new, and different book club. This book club will focus on those book that are spiritual in nature. The first book to be discuss is "Afterlives of the Rich and Famous" by Sylvia Browne
