The Bogota Public Library will have a " Meet & Greet" with its new Director of the Library Radwa Ali. Ms Ali started this position in December of 2014 and has begun to transform the Bogota Library into more of a Community Center. Some of her new programs include a " Dr. Who" club to take advantage of the popular television series. Another major addition is the "Smarty Pants" lecture series. This is a chance for Bogota residents to meet and hear about different subject along with a chance to learn about local authors and their book.
This event will allow the public a chance to meet Ms. Ali one on one and discuss her ideas and goals for the Library. It will be held at the Senior Center on the second floor of the Library, and will start at 7:30p This is a free event and open to the public. The Library ask to reserve a space by calling 201-488-7185 of by email at director@bogtoa.bccls.org on or before Thursday 9- April.

The weekly " Meet the Mayor" event will take place in the office of Mayor Chris Keleman This is open to any Bogota resident who would to ask the Mayor a question about Bogota, or to discuss any matter to help improve the quality of life in the Borough. Anyone who wishes just to have an informal conversation with the Mayor is also welcome to attend. Meetings will be held on a first come basis. This will run from 5:00p to 7:00p in the Mayors office. His office is on in Bogota Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ.

Bogota
The Bogota Board of Education will have their regularly scheduled meeting and work session. This meeting will take place.in the Cafeteria of the Bogota High School. The Public is invited to attend this meeting.
Wednesday-15-April
Bogota Beautiful has their next board meeting on Wednesday 19-Nov.starting at 7:30p. It will take place in the Council Chambers of Borough Hall. Located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. The Public is welcome to attend.
Thursday 16- April

the Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting and work session starting at 7:30p. This will be held as a Town Hall meeting at the Bogota VFW. It will be held in the Main Hall located at 240 Leonia Ave. Bogota, NJ. This meeting is open to the public.

Originally the Bogota Environmental Commission was planning to give away tree sapling as part of the New Jersey Tree Recovery Campaign. This is schedule to now happen before the Town Hall meeting at the Bogota VFW Post #5561 Hall

The Bogota High School chapter of the International Thespian Society Troupe # 6058 is hosting a night of improvisational comedy by the company " Howdy Stranger". Curtain time will be at 8:00p and will take place in the High School Auditorium. Tickets are priced at $10.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Students & Seniors. The Bogota Public Library will have its next installment of their "Smarty Pants" series with Childrens book author Rob Skead. He will read and talk about some of his books. This will be held on the second floor Senior Center located at 375 Larch Ave. in Bogota, NJ. This is open to all age with no admission charged. The Library does ask that reservation be made for everyone wishing to attend. Lady Bucs Softball
-Monday -13- April they will host Palisades Park. This will be played at Lady Bucs Field in Olsen Park. Start time is scheduled for 4:00p
-Wednesday- 15- April they travel to Emerson with the first pitch is scheduled for 4:00
-Thursday - 16 April they have a home game against Memorial at Lady Bucs Field in Olsen Park. Start time is scheduled for 4:00p
Bucs Baseball
- Monday 13- April they travel to Palisades Park first pitch scheduled for 4:00p.
- Wednesday 15-April they play against Emerson . This will be played at the Fiegel Field Baseball Diamond with a 4:00p start.
- Friday 17- April they play Paterson Charter at the Fiegel Field Baseball Diamond with a 4:00p start.
- Saturday 18- April they travel to Wallington for a 11:00a game.
Bogota Track
- Tuesday -14-April both squads will have a meet against Cresskill
