Bogota Blog NJ along with Bogota Beautiful is starting a drive to collect gift cards in order to help the Citizens of Edgewater, NJ. With the assistance of Bogota Mayor Chris Keleman there will be a collection box located in Borough Hall in the secretary's office. The secretary's office will be open during normal business hours which are from Monday to Thursday from 8:00a to 5:00p. Bogota Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ

Bogota Blog NJ has learned that Senior Guard Danny Connors has reached a verbal agreement to committed to Kean University for next year. Mr. Connors suffered a season ending shoulder injury during an early season game.
The Bogota/ Weehawken Wrestling squad lost their match against Dumont on Wed. 4-Feb. by the score of 21-52. Justin Demoya ( 195 lbs), and Beni Lopez (285 lbs) scored Pin Falla while Christian Gonzalez (132 lbs) had a decision win.
Their next match is on Friday 6-February at Lakeland Regional H.S. starting at 7:00p
