The Talent Show section of the Miss Bogota 2015 Pageant will take place on Saturday 17- January. The show is scheduled to begin at 5:00p, and will be held in the Auditorium of Bogota High School. Tickets are priced at $8.00 per person. Ticket will available from the Candidates entered in this years pageant. A record of how many tickets a Candidate sells will be recorded and is one part of the process in choosing the winners for each category in the pageant. For more information about purchasing advanced should call 347-668-6462, tickets will also be able to be purchased at the door for the same price.
The Talent Show is the second event in the Miss Bogota 2015 Pageant. The Candidates will be allowed to show one of their special talents as their feel reflects them in a positive light. The previous talent show included the Candidates performing dance, as well as cheerleading routines. Other Candidates did a recitation on the history of Bogota, another was original works of poetry.Bogota High School is located at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota, NJ.

The Puffin Cultural Forum presents Late artist Hak Vogrin’s works, as well as prints of contemporary political cartoons from Cagle Post, will be on view from January 17th to February 26th. Hak Vogrin was a professional artist for almost 60 years and used colors and expressionistic aspects to convey courage of his convictions on topics that he saw and encountered throughout his life.

Keeping old songs alive and teaching new songs to audiences throughout the world, the Walkabout Clearwater Chorus sings songs of its founder, Pete Seeger, songs of environmental action, the labor movement, the civil rights movement, and songs from volunteers from all over the world who tried to stem the tide of fascism in the Spanish Civil War.
