Note: Chris Keleman election win was certified by the Bergen County Board of Elections on Friday. He was officially sworn in as the new Mayor of Bogota.
The # 6 ranked Bogota Bucs Football team lost to # 3 Becton by the score of 14-51 in the first round of the NJSIAA Tournament playoffs for the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 1. Becton's Roy Forys had three Touchdowns in the Second Quarter, and added another in the Third to pace the Wildcats to the win. Austin Urbaez ran for one Touchdown while Ralphy Gill Gill caught a 13 yard pass from Brennen Rodgers for the second of Bogota Touchdowns.
The # 2 ranked Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball Team plays against #1 ranked Secaucus in the Group 1 Finals of the NJSIAA Volleyball Tournament. This will be played on Saturday 15-Nov. at South Brunswick High School in Monmouth Junction. The Bogota Match is scheduled to start at 1:30p. The first Match of the final day will start of the day will start at 10:30a.
The Bogota Bucs Boys Cross Country squad will run in the NJSIAA group 1 Championship meet at Holmdel,NJ with their race scheduled to start at 12:30p
