The Bogota Borough Council will be holding their regular Council meeting and work session starting at 7:30p in Council Chambers. The Bogota Borough Hall is located at 375 Larch Ave, Bogota , NJ. This meeting is open to the public.

The Bogota Republican Campaign Committee is holding a Beefsteak Dinner & Fundraiser for the Candidates running for Borough Council as well as mayor in this November's election. This will take place at the BCRO Headquarters at 339 Main St. Hackensack. Doors will open at 6:30p with tickets priced at $50.00 per person. The Steen PTO will host their second annual Fall Festival. This will take place in Olsen Park Bogota, NJ starting at 12:00 noon and going until 6:00p There will be rides, games, and crafts including a chance to purchase and paint a pumpkin to take home. Bogota Beautiful will have a table to show some of their efforts to keep the look of the Borough in good order. Lewis Marx is one of the vendors schedule to be in attendance to sell some of his pottery. Along with Bogota Blog NJ which will have a select number of original photographs for sale.
There is a need for volunteers to help with the Festival.
They are looking for anyone who would like to help with various duties. The set-up starts at 10:00a on 18-Oct, clean-up will begin at 6:00p Volunteers are needed for these time, as well as a couple of hours during the festival to help maintain booths. Anyone volunteering will receive 10 free tickets that can be used for the days events.
