Scores from games played on Saturday 4-Oct by teams from Bogota.
The Bogota Cross Country Squads ran in the Brett Taylor Invitational at Darlington Park on Saturday. The Lady Bucs Junior Varsity Women's Squad placed second out of the five schools running in the B group. Emma O'Brien placed ninth to give Bogota their only runner in the top ten.The Bogota Junior Varsity Men's Team placed third out of the six schools running in group B. Daniel Rivera took third place with Ryan White coming just behind in fourth to have Bogota place two in the top ten.
The Varsity Group B races the Lady Bucs finished fourth in a field of 12 schools competing. Jillian O'Brien was the highest Bogota finish at 12th. In the Men's race Bogota won by a wide margin placing five runners in the top ten. The Bucs were lead by Quinn Geraghty winning the overall race with Andy Jaipersaud coming in second. Daniel Daurio finished 4th, James Draney 5th and Michael Gioiosa 9th.
Bogota next meet is on Wednesday 8- Oct when they run against Cresskill and Bergen Charter at Darlington Park the race is scheduled to start at 5:15p

The Bogota Junior Football Bucs played against Little ferry at Fiegel Field on Saturday. The Pee-Wee team played to a 0-0 tie . The Junior team was shut out 0-7 while the Senior team had a 29-6 victory. With this win the Senior team now has a 2-2 record.
There next games will be their final Home for the 2014 season. They will play Cliffside Park on Sunday 12-Oct at Fiegel Field. The Kickoff for the Pee-Wee game will be at 11:00a with the others games to follow.
