The Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy will hold their annual Cadet reunion pool party at the Bogota Swim Club. This will start at 6:00p and go until 9:00. Cadets from all graduating class are asked to attend. The Public is also invited to attend to talk with past Cadets, and Staff members about the Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy. Admission is free with Hamburgers, Hotdog, and soft drinks provided. There will be Youth Academy items available for purchase with all process going to help fund the Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy class #05 in the Summer of 2015.
Tuesday-26- August

The Board of Education will have their public meeting in the Cafeteria of Bogota High School. The meeting is scheduled to start at 7:30p. This will be the first meeting of the 2014-2015 school year. The Public is urge by the board to voice their opinions over these and other items they feel are important to the education of the Students in Bogota. The High School is located at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota, NJ.

Ridgefield Park, NJ
The Final performance of the McGowan Park Summer Concert Series features a show by Soul Finger with a blend of Rock & Roll with Pop . The Concert is schedule to start at 7:00p, with a rain date of the following day at the same time. Admission is free of charge,but it is recommended to bring a lawn chair, or blanket. This year Rosie's Weenie Wagon will be parked at curbside for food.

The Bogota Public Library will finish their Summer Reading series " Fizz, Boom, Read " with a Sciencetellers program starting at 6:00p. There is a limited space available so please call the Library at 201-488-7185 to register, or visit their website at http://www.bogotapubliclibrary.org/ The Bogota Public Library is located at 375 Larch Ave. in Bogota, NJ

The Bogota Green Team is sponsoring a school garden cleanup day Saturday 30-August , at 9 am to 11 am at Steen School. Meet at corner of River Road. This effort is part of our Sustainable Jersey certification. Anyone wishing to volunteer please contact Daniele Fede at 973-703-6578.
They are also sponsoring a shred day and green fair Oct 4 at the Rec Center 9 am to noon. We are seeking sponsors and community group involvement. Green products and sustainable practices will be show cased.

The first night of Bat Stock 2014 will take place at the Teaneck Creek Conservancy. This will also be International Bat Night and will offer an " Bat Walk" by Mr. D’Angeli along the trails of the Teaneck Creek. This event is schedule to start at 7:00p and go until 9:00p Tickets are $10 and $5 for members. This is located at 20 Puffin way , Teaneck, NJ.
