In the early evening a two car accident occurred at River Rd and W. Main St Bogota, NJ. A vehicle traveling Westbound on Main St. lost control striking a stop sign, crossed River Rd. and traveled into the driveway of 334 River Rd. The first vehicle then struck another car that was parked in the driveway of the resident. The force of the impact forced the second vehicle into the garage at the end of the driveway. There was only one occupant of the first car, the driver who according to police at the scene, was unimpaired and simply lost control of the vehicle. The driver was able to get out of the car without assistance, and was taken to Hospital for further evaluation. No other person was involved in the accident. The assistant from members of the Bogota Volunteer Fire Department the parked car was remove from the garage.
