Jun. 07 08:00 pm At Puffin Cultural Forum 20 Puffin Way , Teaneck NJ  Featuring young and dynamic musicians from the New York Arabic Orchestra, quintet presents traditional Arabic standards as well as contemporary compositions reflecting modern expressions of the diverse cultural and musical backgrounds of its members. Group consists of Nobuko Miyazaki (flute), Zafer Tawii (oud) Rami El Aaser (percussion), Samer Ali (violin), and Megumi Saruhashi (violin). $10 Suggested Donation Reservations Recommended

The ARC of Bergen & Passaic Counties will hold their Step-up for The ARC fund- raising Walk-A-Thon in Olsen Park. The walk will begin at 10:30a with registration opening at 9:30a.  This will be the 17th annual Step-Up in Olsen Park. Schedule to appear will be Dave Margalotti from WVNJ radio. There will be crafts , games & other activities. A breakfast and Lunch will be provided free by the 2nd,3rd,&4th District Masons.   Blooming Bogota has received their planters and will start to set then up on Sunday 8- June.  This will start at 10:00a and go until 1:00p Anyone wishing to help is welcome to particapate, no gardening experience is necessary.  Everyone interested in volunteering are ask to meet  on W.Main St at Larch Ave by 10:00a. The Bergen County Audubon Society hosts the second annual Children’s Eco-Art Contest. Exhibition will feature submissions by participating students that pay homage to valuable bird species that have been lost to extinction. Installation will be on view for the month of June.
