On Saturday 28- June the Bogota Public Library kicked off their Summer Reading Program with a craft & activities event in the Bogota Senior Center. This Summers theme is "Fizz, Boom, Read" and is focusing on reading about Science. With the help from volunteer Student Students from Bogota High School the young reader some things visualise some scientific principles. Readers were shown how to make chemical reactions, learn about parts of the Human body, what makes machines work , and a chance to make their own comet to fly around their room.
The program runs until 22-August with rewards available for completing reading projects. For more information about signing -up for the Summer Reading Program, and other Library events in the Summer please visit their web-site at:
