The Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy will hold a benefit dinner at the Bogota VFW Hall from 7:00p- 10:00p. Tickets purchased in advance are $35.00 for Adults & $15.00 students. The price will be $40 for adults & $20 for students at the door. The dinner will be catered by the 101 Pub, with refreshments included in the price. Advanced tickets may be purchased by emailing the Academy at BPESYA@outlook.com. Process will go to fund the Academy's Class 04 in the Summer of 2014. Members of the Academy Staff as well as some Academy Alumni are scheduled to attend to meet the public and be available to talk to Students & Parents that would like to find out more about the Academy. There will also a selected number of items available for raffle, along with a 50/50 drawing. Anyone who mention reading about this event on Bogota Blog NJ to the ticket person will receive a free raffle ticket. The Bogota VFW is located at 240 Leonia Ave. Bogota, NJ. The Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy in it's first three years of developing the Students of Bogota is recognized one of the finest youth programs in Northern New Jersey. It is being use as a model to other towns to start their own programs. The Academy is slowly become self sufficient in order to grow and improve without government funding. This event is another way they hope to help them stay an important part in the the education of Bogota Students.

The Bogota Green Team, along with the Bogota Environmental Commission will be giving away tree saplings on Saturday 29- March. The gift of these trees is made possible by the NJ tree Recovery Campaign to help restores trees that have been damaged, or fallen from the affects of Hurricane Sandy. These tree will be given away on a first come, first serve basis. They will be distributed at the Olsen Park picnic shelter near the Recreation Center. It will begin at 10:00a and go until 12:00. Potting soil and guidelines will be given along with the tree. The trees will be distributed free of charge to Bogota resident. The Bogota Green Team will also be planting some trees in Olsen Park, and is looking for Volunteers to help. Olsen Park is located at 162 W.Main St. Bogota, NJ. The Bogota High School performance of "Seussical the Musical" will take place on Friday & Saturday 4th & 5th of April. Those show will start at 7:30p with ticket at $8.00 for Adults & $6.00 for Students and Seniors. There will be a matinee on Sat. 5-April with a 1:00p curtain with all tickets being priced at $6.00. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Bogota High School is located at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota, NJ

The Steen PTO will be hosting a Salsa Night at the Ridgefield Park Elks Club. This will start at 7:00p and go until 11:00p. There will be an instruction on the basic of Salsa. There will be dancing , raffles, and appetizers. Along with a cash Bar. This will be an Adults only event with tickets for $20 per person, $35 per couple along with discounts available for tables of 8 or 10. Tickets for this event will not be available at the door.The Elks Club is located at 1506 Spruce Ave. Ridgefield Park, NJ.
