  Some  events happen in and around Bogota in March.

11- March
Teaneck, NJ
  The Teaneck Chamber of Commerce along with the Teaneck Rotary Club will be hosting a meeting of  Department Heads from the Township of Teaneck, NJ. Each member of a department will give a brief talk on what that dept. job is in Teaneck. This will be held at the Five Star Residence, located at 655 Pomander Walk in Teaneck, NJ. Bogota
  The Bogota Board of Education will hold their monthly meeting & work session starting at 7:30p in the second floor cafeteria of the High School. This is located at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota, NJ . The Public is invited to attend.

19- March
Bogota
  The Class of 2014 will have their Seniors vs Faculty Basketball game  in the High School Gym. Game time is schedule to start at 6:30p. All Tickets are $5.00

Bogota 

  Bogtoa Beautiful will hold their meeting starting at 7:30p in the Borough Hall Council Chambers. They are located on the second floor of Brough Hall at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ The Public is invited to attend.

Steen School will hold it's second annual Students vs. Faculty night.  This will feature the 5th & 6st Grade Student playing the Faculty in different games. At 6:30p the Girls Student will compete against eh Female teachers in Volleyball. There will be a shoe featuring the Bucs Twirlers, as well as a free throw contest for the student of all grades. The the Boys will play the Teachers in a game of Basketball.

  Tickets are $1.00 for Students & $2.00 for adults, Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

 

22-March
Bogota
   A benefit dinner to help fund the Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy held at the Bogota VFW Hall from 7:00p- 10:00p. Tickets are $35.00 for Adults & $15.00 students. Process will go to fund the Academy's Class 04 in the Summer of 2014. Members of the Academy Staff as well as some Academy Alumni are scheduled to attend to meet the public and be available to talk to Students & Parents that would like to find out more about the Academy.    The Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy in it's first three years of developing the Students of Bogota is recognized one of the finest youth programs in Northern New Jersey. It is being use as a model to other towns to start their own programs. The Academy is slowly become self sufficient in order to grow and improve without government funding. This event is another way they hope to help them stay an important part in the the education of Bogota Students.

Hackensack, NJ
  The Hackensack Regional Chamber of Commerce is holding their 7th annual Indoor Moonlight Picnic on Wed. 26- March from 6:00p to 9:00p This will be held at the Moose Lodge located at 215 Charles St. in Hackensack, NJ.  This will be an evening of Picnic Fare and a chance to network with others. There will be prizes for the best Picnic Attire, along with games. A cash Bar will be available, and proceeds go to benefit Educational Scholarships. The cost is $35 in advance and is required by Wed. 19 -March  This is open to members as well as non-members of the Chamber of Commerce.
