  The Bogota Board of Education will hold their monthly meeting & work session starting at 7:30p in the second floor cafeteria of the High School. This is located at 2 Henry Luthin Pl. Bogota, NJ . The Public is invited to attend.

19- March

  The Class of 2014 will have their Seniors vs Faculty Basketball game  in the High School Gym. Game time is schedule to start at 6:30p. All Tickets are $5.00

  Bogota Beautiful will hold their board meeting starting at 7:30p in the Borough Hall Council Chambers. They are located on the second floor of Brough Hall at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ The Public is invited to attend.

Steen School will hold it's second annual Students vs. Faculty night.  This will feature the 5th & 6st Grade Student playing the Faculty in different games. At 6:30p the Girls Student will compete against eh Female teachers in Volleyball. There will be a shoe featuring the Bucs Twirlers, as well as a free throw contest for the student of all grades. The the Boys will play the Teachers in a game of Basketball.

  Tickets are $1.00 for Students & $2.00 for adults, Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

   The Bogota Borough Council will hold their regular council meeting and work session starting at 7:30p. It is scheduled to be in the Council Chambers located on the second floor of the Bogota Borough at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. This meeting is open to the Public.

  The Bogota Recreation Dept. will be having sign-ups  for cheerleaders for the Fall 2014 season. This is open to all residents of  Bogota , and Teaneck . The sign up will be between 6:30- 8:00p and it will be held at the Bogota Recreation Center located at 162 W. Main St. Bogota, NJ . There are three division: Pee- Wee with students in grades 2-4. Junior that are for 5th& 6st grade students. And Senior which will have students in 7th & 8th grades. Please call 201-487-4368 for more information and cost.

  The Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy will hold a benefit dinner at the Bogota VFW Hall from 7:00p- 10:00p. Tickets purchased in advance are $35.00 for Adults & $15.00 students.  The price will be $40 for adults & $20 for students at the door.  The dinner will be catered by the 101 Pub, with refreshments included in the price.  Advanced tickets  may be purchased by emailing the Academy at BPESYA@outlook.com. Process will go to fund the Academy's Class 04 in the Summer of 2014. Members of the Academy Staff as well as some Academy Alumni are scheduled to attend to meet the public and be available to talk to Students & Parents that would like to find out more about the Academy.  There will also a selected number of items available  for raffle, along with a 50/50 drawing.    Anyone who  mention reading  about this event on Bogota Blog NJ  to the ticket person will receive a free raffle ticket. The Bogota VFW is located at  240 Leonia Ave. Bogota, NJ.    The Bogota Police Emergency Services Youth Academy in it's first three years of developing the Students of Bogota is recognized one of the finest youth programs in Northern New Jersey. It is being use as a model to other towns to start their own programs. The Academy is slowly become self sufficient in order to grow and improve without government funding. This event is another way they hope to help them stay an important part in the the education of Bogota Students.
