Bogota VFW Hall

   Starting today the top Ad space of Bogota Blog NJ will be used to promote the Bogota VFW post 5561 Hall for event rentals. The Ralph Hall Post has two rooms available for use. The Main room located at 240 Leonia Ave and is able to hold events up to 250 guests.  Uses for this space include numerous receptions, and gala. This has also been used for award ceremonies and dining & dancing  occasions. The Upper Hall is equipped with  a stage along the west end of the room, and a hardwood floor in the centre of  room for dancing. This can accommodate small and medium size band  for live entertainment.
  The Lower Hall has space for 110 guest for a more intimate function. The Lower Hall has it's own entrance at 241 West End Ave. Both spaces have access to a kitchen with professional stoves for heating & preparing food service. Both room are equipped with disco effect lighting along with a PA & wireless microphone systems. There is an Audio system that can be used with many standard devices  and can be connected to external equipment.   The Hall would also be able to provide some house equipment upon request.  The entire hall is also has available free Wi-Fi. Both rooms have tables & chairs included with the rental.
   The Post is going through a an upgrade of the floor tiles and wall paneling of the Lower Hall which is scheduled to be completed in April. Work on the Upper Hall will be schedule after the Lower Hall is finished.   The Ralph Hall Post 5561 it self is offering wall  plaques so Families & Friends can honour a Veteran of the Armed Forces for their service to the Country. These can also be used to acknowledge the service to the community of an individual, group, public or private companies, and members of a public safety department. These will be displayed on a Wall of Honor to be created at the Post.
  The Ralph Hall Post 5561 hosts a number of annual events including it's Veteran Day's observance when the VFW names the Citizen & Young Volunteer of the year. Along with the Loyalty Day service where awards are given to the Students of  all Bogota Schools for writing. And to recognize members of the school safety patrol.
   The Ralph Hall Post 5561 is also inviting anyone who wishes to join as Veterans of the Armed Services, or as family members of Veterans to join. There is already a Ladies Auxiliary for  Wives, Mothers, Daughters, or Sisters. There is now being formed a Men's Auxiliary for Husbands, Fathers, Sons, & Brothers of combat veterans to join the post.
