Weekend results from High School sports
On Friday 31-Jan. the Bogota Bucs Wrestling team lost both of their matches in a Tri-meet at New Millord. The Bucs lost to Hawthorne 24-50, then to host New Milford 21-55. This moves Bogota record to 6-8. They next have a match on Friday 7- February at Speary Gym when they take on Tenafly.
The Boys Basketball team lost their make-up game to Waldwick on Friday 31- Jan. by the score of 43-62. This moves their record to 3-11. They next play at Bergen Charter on Tuesday 4- Feb. Their next league game is at Midland Park on Thursday 6-February with a 7:00p tip-off.
The Lady Bucs suffered a 29-42 lost at Dwight Englewood on Saturday 1- Feb. Kristin Bautista lead with 19 points, including 2 three point field goals. Kelliann Brown also had 2 three point baskets. The lost moves Bogota's Record to 4-10 they next play at Bergen Charter on Tuesday 4- February with a tip-off scheduled to be at 7:00p. Their next league game is on Thursday 6-February at Speary Gym when they play New Milford with a 4:00p start. The next day they will play Hackensack again at Speary Gym with a 4:00p start.
