The Bogota Lady Bucs had their biggest win of the season with a 51-12 victory at Hawthorne Christian on Tuesday. In a rare situation for a basketball game the winning points scored early as Bogota had a 13-2 lead after the First Quarter. Stephanie Perpepaj was game high score with 16 Points while Carina Islip added another 11 Points. Both Brittney Perpepaj and Kelliann Brown made two three point baskets each. This moves their record to 7-13, which should allow them to compete in post season play.
Their next game is at Home, in Speary Gym, on Thursday 20- Feb. against Waldwick. This will be Senior Night for the Lady Bucs and will have a tip-off of 6:00p
The Boys team team had a 36-61 home lost to Hawthorne Christian on Tuesday. The bigger players on the Defenders just dominated the game. Isiah Dela Cruz lead in scoring with 12 points, all of them coming on three point baskets. The Bucs record is now 5-14. They next play at Waldwick on Thursday with a 4:00p tip-off.
