The Bogota  Office of Emergency Management  has put out this alert.
 WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM EST

TUESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW YORK HAS ISSUED A WINTER

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM

EST TUESDAY.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR

FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR

SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE

DRIVING.

Saturday 14-Dec.

The Bogota/ Teaneck Knights of Columbus will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast with Santa from 8:00a to 11:00a 

 Tickets are $8.00 for adults $5.00 for children 6-12 with all children 5 & younger free. Breakfast will include:

pancakes, eggs, sausages & home fries. Along with coffee, or tea, milk, & juice.  All Children attending will receive a free 5x7 photo with Santa. 

 The Knight of Columbus Hall is located at 829 Windsor Rd. Teaneck , NJ. For more information please call 201-836-9719.

Thursday 12- Dec.

Bogota

The Steen School will host it's second annual  "Pizza with Santa" on Thursday 12- Dec. in the school's Gymnasium located off orchard Terrace in Bogota, NJ . This will start at 6:00p and go until 8:00p. For $5.00 the children will get a photos with Santa along with a frame they can decorate. There will be Pizza , drinks, and other snacks available for purchase. There will be a Santa Letterbox  that will accept stamped letters to Santa address to him at The North Pole.  All letters will be forwarded to Macy's who will make a $1 per letter donation to  the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
 Also at this event they will be collecting  donation for the St. Joseph' food pantry.

The Music Dept of Bogota High School will hold their Winter Concert in the High School Auditorium 

Friday 13- Dec
Bogota
 The Bogota Recreation Commission along with Bogota Girl Scout will be hosting the 2013 Bogota tree Lighting. This will be on Friday 13- Dec. at 7:30p  Starting at 6:00p there will be a Trackless train ride on Larch Ave in front of Borough Hall.  Cookies & Hot Chocolate will be served at the W. Broad St. Firehouse.  The Rec Commission will  be collecting  food item to be given to local food pantry. Saturday 14-Dec.
Bogota
The Final event of the Miss Bogota Pageant for 2013 will be on Saturday 14-Dec. at Bogota High School. The ceremonies will begin at 6:00p. The High School is located at 2 Henry Luthin Place in Bogota.  This will be when  three young ladies will be chosen for the title of : Little Miss Bogota, Miss Teen Bogota, and Miss Bogota 2013.  There will also be a reception following to held held at the Bogota Recreation Center located at 167 W. Main St. Bogota. Both events are opened to the public with free admission.
