The Bucs Wrestling team open their season with a 52- 19 victory at Dover on Friday. Three Bogota wrestlers, Boula Takla, Nour Warrad, & Beni Lopez scoring Pin Falls while Dennis Kolenovic winning by Major Decision. They Wrestling in the Garfield Tournament on Sat. 21- Dec. The also will compete in the Bergen County Tournament at Rockland Community College on Sun-Mon 29-30 Dec. Their next regular season match will Friday 3- Jan-2014 as they welcome Manchester to Speary Gym with a 7:00p start.
The Bogota Basketball team lost their openers to Emerson. The Lady Bucs lost at the Lady Cavaliers on Friday night 23-38 While the Boys team had an Overtime loss of 48-52 at Speary Gym.
The Lady Bucs take part in the Cresskill Holiday Tournament on Thursday 26- Dec & Saturday 28- Dec. Their next regular season game is Saturday 4- Jan.-2014 as they play at home in Speary Gym hosting Indian Hills with a schedule start time of 11:00a.
The Boys team will take part in the Bergen Holiday Tournament Fri.-Mon. 27-30 Dec. The have a regular season game at Secaucus on Sat. 4- Dec. with a tip-off scheduled to be at 2:30p
The Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team had two members name to the All- Bergen First Team they were Jenifer Ramirez and Carly O'Sullivan. Amanda Manzo received at Third team placement.
On Sunday 22-Dec. members of The Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. will be escorting Santa on his Lollipop tour of the Borough. This a final chance for Santa to find which of Bogota Children have be nice this year. He starts his tour at about 1:00p with Lollipops being passed out by his helpers.
