The #1 Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team plays their second round match in the NJSIAA group #1 Tournament at Speary Gym playing #16 Wallington
Saturday 9-Nov
Bogota
The Bogota Junior Bucs Football teams play their final Home game of the 2013 at Feigel Field. The Bucs host the Junior teams from Ridgefield, with the Pee-Wee game starting at 11:00a and the other two games to follow afterwards.
Lodi
The High School Football team play their final regular season game at Lodi with the Kick-off scheduled at 1:00p
Garret Mountain
The Bogota Girls & Boys Cross-County Squads run in the State Sectional meet. The Girls run in the North Jersey Section 1 Group #1 race starting at 10:00a
The Boys race in the North Jersey Section 1 Group #1 starts at 10:50a

Bogota
Ladies Lock and Load will be hosting a Civilian Safety Awareness program. This will take place at the Bogota Recreation Center located at 162 W. Main St. Bogota, NJ. The three hour program will focus self defense techniques including how to discourage a potential threat, and how to escape of an attack. This is an Adults only class all participants must be 18 years or older. There is a $65 fee in advance and $70 at the door.

The Ralph Hall VFW post # 5561 in Bogota will hold it's Veteran's Service , and Citizen's Awards Ceremony on Monday 11-Nov. 2013. This is their annual event to honour the Women & Men who have serviced in the United States Military. At this event the Ralph Hall Post # 5561 recognizes a private member of the Borough with their Citizen of the Year Award. . The post's Ladies Auxiliary presents the Young Volunteer of the Year Award to the Students who has helped the community as a volunteer over time.
The Ceremony is opened to the public, and is free of charge. The event will start at 8:00p with coffee , and cake being nservice at the end of the evening. All past awards recipients are invited to attend this year's ceremonies. The Ralph Hall Post is located at 240 Leonia Ave. Bogota, NJ.
